A Dream of Light

‘Courage, temperance, wisdom, justice, patience...’ LIAM HARRIS repeats the words sealing them into the depths of his consciousness, finding comfort and solace. For one hundred and forty-nine years he has been trapped on the Earth, engaged as an immortal human, after unknowingly being injected with an anti-aging elixir along with the cell repair nanobots for disease removal. The pharmaceutical giant had developed “biotechnology cures” with the promise that humanity would never suffer from illness or disease. Ever. They said it was heaven on earth.
