Sally Edsall a keen home cook, with a collection of recipes dating back to the 1980s. She has also adapted some of her Sicilian mother-in-law's precious recipes. Sally developed Menières in 2016, and has been on a low-sodium cook since then. While she misses the concept of vegemite on toast, she doesn't miss the actual taste of salt! Sally lives on the South Coast of NSW near Batemans Bay where she and her partner retired in 2017. Since diagnosis, Sally and her husband have continued their love of travelling, and are familiar with supermarkets and fresh food markets in lots of places around the world. This not only means a low sodium diet is maintained, but it's a great way to mingle with locals away from the tourist beat.

Kim and Paul Dean are proud to own Low Sodium Foods Australia, taking over the business from the previous owners in 2021. Kim was diagnosed with Meniere’s Disease in 2010, and that is when she began her journey to adopting a low salt diet, to eating only foods containing no more sodium than 120mg per 100g. Their online store takes the struggle out of the search for low sodium foods, especially the pantry basics. They love nothing more than helping everyone on their low sodium journey and lifestyle.
